About The Event

Get ready for a joyful leap into music, movement and storytelling as Giddy Goat bounds into Leytonstone! Brought to life by the brilliant Ensemble 360, this heartwarming story by Jamie Rix, with lively music by composer Paul Rissmann, will be performed to 180 children from four local schools – Jenny Hammond, Downsell, Buxton and Mayville.

Led by world-class musicians, the concert is fully inclusive, integrating Makaton signing and specially tailored for children with additional needs. Through catchy songs (like Climb the Mountain and One Family of Goats), vibrant narration, and live orchestral sound, young audiences will be immersed in a magical, musical mountain adventure.

INSET training for teachers ensures every child can join in with confidence. Teachers will gain tools to lead warm-ups, teach songs, and connect music to the wider curriculum — enriching school life far beyond concert day.

Learning outcomes include:

• Recognising instruments and musical textures

• Exploring pitch, rhythm, pulse, and pattern

• Singing with confidence and expression

• Developing coordination, teamwork, and listening skills

• Following a conductor and joining in with joyful musical play

This is music education at its most engaging, inclusive and fun — right in the heart of our Leytonstone community.
